 | Telluride and Ridgway host fantasitc whitewater rafting trips throughout the summer. Often shallow and calm, the San Miguel River can burst with class II- IV rapids due to snowmelt and spring run-off. Kayaking trips are also available and is a fun alternative to whitewater rafting. The Telluride Kayak School offers smaller group trips with experienced guides and instructors.
