Montrose is located about 65 miles from Telluride and is a popular destination for Telluride residents for a day of shopping or eating out. There is a resivoir between Montrose and Ridgway which is great for a quick summer dip and camping sites as well as jeeping and hiking trails and rock climbing opportunities are located in the Montrose area. 

Grand Junction is located about 125 miles from Telluride. These courses offer reduced fees and easy access to fun activities for the whole family including bowling, stadium seating movie theatres, and a mall.
