Wilkinson Library

The Wilkinson Public Library is a 20,000 square foot building on the corner of Pine and West Pacific. Recipient of the 5 star rating by the Library Journal as recognition for being one of the best libraries in the country, the library has much to offer for visitors and locals alike. The library offers story time for kids and infants Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11am, free wireless internet, public computers, and numerous programs ranging from yoga for kids to writing workshops for adults. Movies and lectures presented by local artists and interest groups are regularly scheduled events at the library, and most of the events are free.

One of the greatest assets of the Wilkinson Library is their large children’s section. In addition to hundreds if not thousands of children’s book, the section also has hands on activities for kids, a knowledgeable staff, and even a treehouse. On a day that’s just too cold and snowy for skiing, the library is a great place to go for entertainment and education.

The library is open from 10am-8pm Monday-Thursday, 10am-6pm Friday and Saturday, and Sunday from 12noon-5pm. For the most up to date information on programs and upcoming events, please go to the Wilkinson Public Library website at http://www.telluridelibrary.org
