Yoga in Telluride

Like many things in Telluride, yoga started humbly and is now slowly growing into a phenomena. Children's yoga classes are taught at the Wilkinson Public Library, and the Telluride Yoga Center is open for one day classes, open studio, and workshops. In summer 2008, the first annual Telluride Yoga Festival took place. The mountains turned out to be the perfect place for yoga instructors and enthusiasts alike and classes are held for beginners as well as more advanced classes for daily practitioners.
